About Us

Founded in 2007, TruEvolution is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to fight for health equity and racial justice to advance the quality of life and human dignity of LGBTQ+ people. Headquartered  in Riverside and serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, our priority populations are people living with HIV, youth transitioning out of foster care (18-25) and seniors (65+). Our programs include HIV care, PrEP and prevention services, linkage to care, behavioral health support, case management, emergency and transitional housing, support groups and the IE LGBTQ+ Center. In a landmark development in 2020, we established Project Legacy: a long-term transitional housing facility serving homeless people living with HIV, LGBTQ+, seniors, and BIPOC communities. In June 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of our Inland Empire LGBTQ+ Center located at our main headquarters in Downtown Riverside. The IE LGBTQ+ Center will serve as a resource hub and support for LGBTQ+ individuals.
