Mission & History
The Long Beach Public Library Foundation provides support to enhance the Long Beach Public Library and encourages literacy and education for all members of the community.
Since our founding in 1996, we have supported literacy and education by funding for special programs, technology and resources. Our support creates new learning opportunities at the Billie Jean King Main Library and all 11 neighborhood library branches throughout Long Beach.
