This year marks the return of the Gala of the Stars, an extraordinary evening of glamour, philanthropy, and unforgettable entertainment benefiting Dancers Against Cancer (DAC). Guests will enjoy a night filled with exciting performances, celebrity appearances, live and silent auctions, and special moments that celebrate the power of dance and community. All proceeds from the event directly support DAC’s mission to provide financial assistance and hope to dancers, choreographers, and their families impacted by cancer.

 

Last year’s inaugural Gala honored the incomparable Liza Minnelli with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her legendary career and cultural impact. Paula Abdul received the Paula Abdul Legacy Award for her groundbreaking contributions to dance and choreography. Visionary choreographer Jamal Sims was presented with the Trailblazer Award, while renowned creative Kyle Hanagami received the Vanguard Award. The evening, hosted by Maks Chmerkovskiy, featured show-stopping performances by JoJo Siwa & ICON, Autumn Miller, and The Launch Program at Brea Space.

 

With the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and attendees, the 2024 Gala of the Stars raised an incredible $588,000 for DAC, making a profound difference in the lives of those we serve. This year promises another inspiring celebration you won’t want to miss.
