After much thought and a number of unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our May 2025 Advocates Gala.
This was not an easy decision. We are deeply grateful to our incredible planning committee, host committee, and the entire community of advocates who make our work possible. We especially want to thank our 2025 Community Heroes honorees, Ava and Brooke Dabney, for their unwavering commitment and inspiration.
While we will not gather in celebration this year, our need for support is as urgent as ever. If you are able, we humbly ask that you continue to stand with us by making a donation today—your contributions directly impact the lives of the young people and families we serve.

Community Hero Honorees
Ava and Brooke Dabney
Ava and Brooke Dabney are twin sisters who raised money for their 8th grade community project to benefit CLC's young clients. Ava and Brooke hosted garage sales and sold items online to support CLC's Uplift with a Gift Holiday giving program. We are so grateful for Ava and Brooke and we hope they continue to inspire other young people to uplift children in need!
