Precious Lamb is a unique preschool in downtown Long Beach that provides full-time, faith-based quality education to children battling homelessness. With a low 1:6 ratio, at-risk children receive love, care, and attention in a private preschool setting. Our students range from ages 18 months to five years old, and receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared by our on-site chef, as well as chapel, music, field trips, and special curriculum nuanced toward trauma. As the only faith-based free preschool for children experiencing homelessness in all of Los Angeles County, Precious Lamb does not receive any state or federal aid and is completely funded through private donations.
